Fencing has been part of Seacourt for more than 30 years and remains one of the Club’s most established and unique sports.
With opportunities for both juniors and adults, Seacourt Fencing Club welcomes everyone from complete beginners through to experienced competitive fencers. The club supports all three weapons: Foil, Epee and Sabre, with coaching, structured tuition and regular competitive opportunities available throughout the year.
Junior Fencing
Wednesday: 7.00pm to 8.00pm (term time)
For ages 7–14 with structured coaching and tuition.
Senior Club Night
Thursday: 8.30pm to 11.00pm
Open to adult fencers of all abilities.
The club fences weekly throughout the year, apart from a short break over Christmas and during August.
The club maintains a large stock of fencing clothing and equipment for Foil, Epee and Sabre, allowing new members to try the sport without needing to purchase their own kit straight away. All you need to get started is suitable sports clothing, trainers and a willingness to give it a go.
Whether you are completely new to fencing or an experienced competitor, Seacourt Fencing Club offers a friendly and sociable environment for all abilities.
Structured tuition, individual coaching and competitive opportunities are available, and the club regularly takes part in county and regional competitions.
